the air was cold and i felt my breath
forming waves and clouds
intricate and spindly
swirling around us
and you breathed out carbon
warm and under toned in cinnamon.
i felt your fingers
working circles and shapes that
didn't make sense
along the inside of my thigh
and my stomach.
your lips hung next to my ear
and left kisses to freeze
and you spilled secrets
laced with innocence to match
your face.
